Job Description

PM+M are a vibrant and dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants, business advisers and financial planners with offices in Blackburn and Burnley, covering East Lancashire and beyond.

As a result of our continued rapid expansion the opportunity has arisen for an Administration Apprentice to join the Wealth Management team.

 

The intention is for the successful candidate to complete the level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship, once completed, further professional training would also be considered.

Main Duties:

  • To keep the firms database up-to-date by importing new data, updating records and performing necessary cross checks

  • To provide support to managers and staff with printing, photocopying and binding

  • To assist with mailshots and typing

  • To carry out diary management for both internal and external meetings

  • To assist in the monthly issuing of bank letters and the admin function for recording

  • To carry out Smart Searches via the internet as requested

  • To assist with mailshots and the admin of the Firm’s Fee Protection Scheme

  • To assist with regular stationery stock checks

  • To assist on reception during busy periods, periods of sick leave and holidays

  • To assist the Marketing Dept with any administrative matters as required

  • To assist the HR Dept with any administrative matters as required

  • To carry out, efficiently and effectively, a variety of admin duties to include general adhoc office duties as required and inline with experience, skills and training.

Qualifications required:

5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at grade A-C

Good knowledge of recognised software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 

Future Prospects:

May be an opportunity for a full time position on completion of the Apprenticeship for the right candidate.
