This is a fantastic opportunity for an Enthusiastic, Reliable, Organised and hardworking Business Administration Apprentice to join a large, well-established organisation as a Business Administration apprentice.
The company are looking train and develop a Business Administration apprentice to perform general administration duties and provide efficient and effective administrative service. The Business Administration Apprentice would be based within the Contract Management team reporting to the P.A. to the Service Director and Deputy Director of Finance and would support the P.A in her role, but would also have the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of the team.
Duties to include:-
General administrative tasks including answering phone calls, filing and photocopying
Respond to email and phone enquiries ensuring that these are re-directed as appropriate
Diary and inbox management
Typing of routine correspondence/reports
Travel arrangements for team using internal travel system
Collection and distribution of mail
Ordering of stationery for team
Maintenance of database/spreadsheets and reports
Meetings administration supporting production of agendas, collation and distribution of papers
Arranging ad hoc meetings as directed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good Telephone Manner.
Good IT skills including understanding of, MS Office (Word & Excel) and outlook
Good organisational skills.
Team working skills

Ablility to work on own initiative and as part of a team
5 GCSE’s at Grades A-C (including Maths, English and ICT) desirable. Candidates will be required to undertake initial assessment at Blackburn College.

OCR Level 2 Combined Qualification in Business and Administration
Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT if required
Occasional travel to other local sites, however transport would always be provided
