A unique opportunity has now opened up within the Finance Department of the business. The firm is scouting for an enthusiastic, energetic individual. You don't need to be the most experienced, but you must have a desire to learn and better yourself in line with the training program offered. The firm is willing to invest as much into you as you are into the firm.
This is a hands on position where you will be required to contribute from the outset, however the firm will do everything in their power to ensure you succeed and grow with the business, to not only reach your career goals, but also your personal goals.
The role is open to candidates of all backgrounds and experience, however given this is a finance based role, the ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with large amounts of data on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be competent with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
The successful candidate will form part of the Clients & Collections Team, and receive training on the following areas:
- Incoming & outgoing cheques process
- Banking process
- Reconciling and processing client payments
- Billing processes across the firm
- Claim on insurance policies
Other general support for the Clients & Collections team

Experience of using MS Excel, Word & Outlook
Well organised with excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
Excellent attention to detail
Well-developed verbal and written skills
Seeking 1st step in accountancy
Drive and passion to become an accountant

Willingness to attend and learn with an external provider
Team player with high degree of flexibility
Willingness to accept and promote change and new ideas
5 x GCSEs at grades A*-C in Maths and English Language. Candidates must also complete an initial assessment at Blackburn College.

Association of Accounting Technicians Level 2
Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required) at Level 1
Progression to Level 3 and 4 AAT with possible progression to Chartered qualifications upon completion for right candidate.
