Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a motivated person to develop skills with order processing, communication and general administration.

You will be working with a great team and client that will develop your skills in working with customers and a sales team.

You will be responsible for processing orders correctly, communicating with the sales team to deal with any issues with an order, making sure that the goods are despatched from suppliers and finally ensuring that the goods are delivered correctly and on time to the customer.

You must have enthusiasm for wanting to learn and have basic core skills such as communication on the telephone, using computer and Microsoft applications, good personal organisation, self-motivation and eagerness to develop.

You must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative to meet tight deadlines, and be willing to learn and develop new skills.


Person Specification

Skills required:

Must possess good computer skills and an excellent telephone manner.

A keen interest in working in an administrative/order processing role would be an advantage

Accuracy skills, good numerical skills, attention to detail, an excellent telephone manner, and good organisational skills required

Personal Qualities:

You must be a team player with flexibility and the ability to work on your own initiative and in a busy environment.


GCSE grades A*-C including English and Maths desirable but not essential

  • You will be required to pass an assessment in English and Maths taken at the College as part of the application process

OCR Level 2 combined qualification in Business and Administration
