Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Bookkeeper Apprentice to join our expanding team at our office in Nelson.

The successful candidate will be given full study support to fulfil their potential and become a qualified AAT accountant.

Specific duties of this role include the following:

 

  • Performing bookkeeping duties for clients including data entry of sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank transactions;

  • Carrying out bank account and balance sheet reconciliations;

  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns;

  • Liaising with clients to request missing information or in supplying information they require;

  • Other ad hoc duties to assist senior team members and clients as necessary.

Qualifications required

GCSE’s at Grades A*-C in Maths and English.

 

Candidates will be required to undertake initial assessment at Blackburn College.
