Job Description


Bowker Maserati is looking to recruit an Apprentice for an exciting role, which will cover administration and customer service. If you are an outgoing person who is organised, can listen and uncover individual customer’s needs and are looking for a fantastic opportunity with a prestigious organisation then this is the position for you!

This position offers the right person the opportunity to be part of a company, which invests both time and money in the professional development of its staff. A family run business and an award winning team, with a low staff turnover and a number of managers who all started their careers as apprentices!


You will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the showroom and will be able to help customers in the dealership wishing to find out more about Maserasti products.
You will also be responsible for working on the reception desk, receiving incoming calls into the dealership, as well as meeting and greeting customers and visitors, directing them to relevant staff or departments and providing refreshments.
The role will also include general administration duties.
You will represent the company and its values by exceeding customer service in every aspect of your role.
During your time as an apprentice, you will be assigned a mentor from Bowker Blackburn who will coach and support you throughout your apprenticeship journey.

Excellent time management skills

IT literate, with up to date knowledge of new technology including how to use an Ipad

Experience of working in a customer service/retail environment would be advantageous but not essential

You do not need to be a Maserati expert to apply for this position, but you must have a keen interest in cars and the Maserati brand

GCSE Maths and English grades A*-C is desirable but not essential. You must be willing to work towards a Maths and English qualification if you do not already have one. A good level of Maths and English is important particularly verbal communication.

Proposed Duration

12 month level 2 apprenticeship with potential of progressing on to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

Training to be Provided

You will work towards a Business Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship during the first year, followed by an Advanced Apprenticeship in the second year. The Apprenticeship will involve the following qualifications:

L2 Business Administration Diploma combined qualification

Functional Skills Maths, English and IT

Employer Rights and Responsibilities

Working closely with a dedicated assessor and your mentor, an individual learning plan will be developed to ensure successful completion of the apprenticeship framework.

In addition to the college training you will also undertake in-house training with Bowker Blackburn.

There is an excellent support mechanism in place with both dedicated staff at the college and Bowker Blackburn, who will look after you and challenge you to achieve your full potential.

Future Prospects

On completion of the apprenticeship there will be the opportunity of a permanent contract with the company for the right person. Bowker Blackburn look to promote from within and there are fantastic opportunities for future development and progression for the right person.
