Job Description

Mauer UK Ltd, a Blackburn based manufacturing company, are looking for hard-working and enthusiastic individuals to join their team.

This role offers the potential to qualify for an apprenticeship and full-time employment with the company, dependent on each individual’s ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

The company are looking to train and develop a Manufacturing Apprentice.

Candidates will be expected to learn each stage of the Mauer External-Wall-Insulation production process. This will include:

  • board cutting

  • timber cutting

  • board preparation (pilot drill)

  • board mounting

  • adhesive application

  • marriage of brick to board

  • pointing

  • final coat application

The chosen candidate will also be responsible for general warehouse duties, stock control, packaging and brick manufacturing.

No specific qualifications required. However, the appointment will be subject to applicants passing an initial assessment through Blackburn College.
