Job Description

The Job Role

This job role involves the daily processing and bottling of several types of milk.

All aspects of the processing and the setting of machines, their maintenance and cleaning are part of the daily work routine.

The processing operative works under the direct supervision of the dairy plant manager and will assist in all aspects of milk processing, cream separating and maintaining the plant.

A key element in our organisation is the sales of processed and unprocessed milk and the quality of the finished product is very important.

A key element is also hygiene and cleaning standards.

As the dairy develops, new processes will be added such as yoghurt manufacture and cheese making.

Future Prospects

This would lead to a full time position for the right candidate

Skills required

Must be able to work under pressure and be punctual

 

Personal Qualities

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of hygiene practice in the workplace  

Qualifications Required

GCSE's in Maths and English. You will be required to pass an assessment in Maths and English as part of the application process
