- Job Description
Greet customers and lead them to their tables
Take ice cream orders and provide customers with information on the day’s special or any deals on offer
Ensure that orders are repeated for accuracy
Relay orders to the ice cream dispensing area
Dispense customers’ orders according to instructions provided
Place toppings such as syrup, nuts and cream on orders
Ensure that orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner
Pack takeaway orders in appropriate containers
Prepare ice cream by using ice cream making machines
Operate cash register to process payments
Clean and maintain work and customer areas

Flexible approach to work
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure and multi task
Good organisational skills
Clean and tidy appearance
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications preferred but must have the ability to undertake an initial assessment.

Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship
Level 2 Apprenticeship – minimum of 12 months, maximum of 16 months
Duration can vary depending on commitment/ experience of candidate
Training to be Provided
All aspects of NVQ Level 2 Food and Beverage. You will be trained and assessed in the workplace.
