Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and flexible apprentice to work in our busy kitchen and front of house.

You must be passionate about food, reliable, hardworking and be able to work well under pressure.

You will work as part of a team and maintain a high standard of hygiene & safety. Training in all areas of the kitchen/food preparation, larder, food & drink service, counter and customer service will be provided.

You will learn all the practical aspects of fresh food preparation, cooking, cleaning, ordering, stock rotation and ordering in the kitchen.

You will also be trained to work in the front of house as a waiter/waitress and barista and to prepare cakes.

Previous experience or qualifications in preparing hot and cold meals and a basic food hygiene certificate would be ideal, but not essential.

Qualifications

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications preferred but must have the ability to undertake an initial assessment.

Previous experience or qualifications in preparing hot and cold meals and a basic food hygiene certificate would be ideal, but not essential.

Other Information

Working week - 5 days out of 7 starting time no earlier than 8:00am- finishing time no later than 6:00pm. Approximately 40 hours per week. The flexibility to work some weekends and bank holidays
