Job Description

Lorraine is looking for an Apprentice Barber to join her in her very busy shop. She has a wealth of experience and will give high quality training.

 General duties will include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients

  • Basic Styling

  • Reception

  • Cleaning rota duties

  • Completing your Training

The Barber will expect you to observe whilst she cuts and assist.

Training will be given on a weekly basis in the work place; this may follow the college programme. Monthly or weekly meetings/appraisals may be given.

 

The training the college will provide on a weekly basis:

  • Provide client consultation services

  • Provide shaving services

  • Design and create a range of facial hair shapes

  • Creatively cut hair using a combination of barbering techniques

  • Design and create patterns in the hair

  • Colour and lighten men’s hair

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities

L2 in Barbering

Training To Be Provided:

NVQ Level 3 in Barbering. You will be trained both at College (one day per week) and in Salon.
