Job Description

The business is looking to recruit an Apprentice Sewing Machinist to learn all aspects of Sewing and production. 

This is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress with a well-established International company in a varied and interesting Textiles manufacturing role.

Duties will include;

• Use of different sewing machines

• Working as part of a team or individually

• An opportunity to learn development of new products

• Working within strict deadlines

• Organisation of finished goods

• Good communication skills

Full training to be provided on:

• All aspects of Sewing and making up of product

• Health & Safety

• Safe use of equipment

• Safe working practices

No specific qualifications required. However, the appointment will be subject to applicants passing an initial assessment through Blackburn College.
