This course is highly relevant for any manager who has a role in managing attendance. Enrolling on this course helps to meet health and safety obligations and supports attendance management plans. Previous knowledge of the subject is not required.

This module is all about how, by gaining understanding of what stress and pressure are and what factors affect them, you can have an influence on the wellbeing of your team. Prevention is always better than a cure, so if you understand how the body works you can begin to take active steps to promote positive wellbeing and minimise the effects of stress. The module educates managers on how to manage pressure in themselves and others and details the legalities and implications of stress at work. It looks at what factors affect wellbeing and cause stress, at how to identify stress signs and how they can be prevented. Having completed the module learners will have gained an introduction to:

Entry Requirements

Course Entry Criteria

There are no specific entry requirements for this course. The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:

    More than 4 weeks notice - no charge
  • 4 weeks notice - 30% of the cost
  • 2-3 weeks notice - 50% of the cost
  • 1-2 weeks notice - 75% of the cost
  • Less than 1 weeks notice - 100% of the cost

All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee's policy is available on request.
