Overview

Anyone working in the NHS. As information governance is a key issue all employees should know about how to handle patient-identifiable information within an organisation. It is also appropriate to all Public Sector bodies including Education, Council, Police, Fire and Government.

What will I study?

Information Governance Training is an immediate and vital requirement for NHS and Social Care staff. The TIGER e-learning solution has been specifically designed in conjunction with NHS professionals to meet the needs of Information Governance training in this sector, and has been used by over 40,000 learners in more than a hundred Trusts. TIGER Essentials is a single module which is ideal for accompanying all staff induction programs, or as an Information Governance refresher course on an annual basis. It has been developed by a steering group of Information Governance health care professionals and can be used as an overview module designed to equip learners with a basic knowledge about the ‘essentials' of Information Governance.

TIGER Essentials starts by explaining what Information Governance is, then gives an overview of each of eight key topics: learner will be directed to the quiz section where his/her understanding will be put to the test.
