Who is the course for?
Anyone working in the NHS. As information governance is a key issue all employees should know about how to handle patient-identifiable information within an organisation. It is also appropriate to all Public Sector bodies including Education, Council, Police, Fire and Government.
How will the course be delivered?

What will I study?
This engaging NHS and Social Care-specific module will look at why good quality information underpins sound decision making and contributes to the improvement of service provided. It will cover the nature of errors, tell the learner what Information Quality is all about and the management and supporting bodies behind it, as well as stating its role in Information Governance. Having completed the course learners will be able to explain why it is important to an organisation, describe the main areas of legislation and regulation, explain what needs to be done and be in a position to promote best practice within your organisation. The module is structured into a number of engaging learning activities which guide the learner through each activity. These modules are supported by graphics, animations and a range of knowledge challenges which not only help with the retention of information but which are constantly re-enforcing key messages.
