Overview

Who is the course for?
This is aimed at construction workers or individuals who wish to start a career in construction.

 

How will the course be delivered?
Through classroom based tuition, please note candidates will be required to complete a multiple choice examination 1 week after the classroom delivery.

 

What will I study?

Below are the units covered on the course:

    Introducing working safely
  • Defining hazard and risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance
  • Protecting our environment
  • Legal and management
  • Health and welfare
  • General safety
  • High risk activities

 The course includes a CSCS Health and Safety booklet and multiple choice online test to prepare you in the importance of staying safe whilst working on construction sites. 

What will I get at the end of the course?

On successful achievement candidates will receive an IOSH Working Safely certificate. Once you have passed the Health and Safety and Environment Test you will then need to apply for your CSCS Card. (card is not included)

Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisites however delegates must be 19 or over.
