Overview

This City and Guilds 3667-02 course is designed for employers and individuals wishing to gain the knowledge and accreditation for them to install Fibre Optic data cabling.

How will the course be delivered?

Through classroom based activities alongside a tutor and other delegates at a similar level. In order to attend this course you must wear protective/strong supportive shoes. Trainers are unsuitable.

What will I study?

The course is split into two units:

    Core Unit: Basic Principles of communications systems
  • Unit 2: Fibre Optic cabling in an internal environment

This course is suitable to anyone who has a keen interest in this area but candidates from a communications or electrical installation background are at an advantage.

How will I be assessed?

An online test will be held on the last day of the course and this course is a mixture of theory and practical.
