Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Up-Dating Course for Best IQA Practice
Who is the course for?
This 3 hour updating course is aimed at all qualified Internal Verifiers (IQA) who have already achieved the following awards: D34 & V1.
What will I study?
By the end of the session, candidates will be aware of:
1. OfQuals requirements for Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs)
2. The TAQA IQA Units
3. The implications of your own/employees/colleagues IQA practice
4. Areas and opportunities for further CPD development
City and Guilds suggest: “It is not mandatory for qualified assessors or verifiers to update their skills however it would be expected that practising assessors/verifiers reflect the current TAQA standards in their practice.”
If you have one of the aforesaid qualifications but you have not practised for a number of years then you may wish to consider the full Award – contact us for more information or refer to our website.
How will the course be delivered?
The session will be delivered via a 3 hour workshop at our Business Suite in Blackburn.
Course Entry Criteria
This 3 hour updating course is aimed at all qualified Internal Verifiers (IQA’s) who have already achieved the following awards: D34 & V1.
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
• More than 4 weeks notice no charge
• 4 weeks notice 30% of the cost
• 2-3 weeks notice 50% of the cost
• 1-2 weeks notice 75% of the cost
• Less than 1 weeks notice 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.
What will I get at the end of the course?
A Blackburn College Certificate of Attendance.
