Vocational courses help you to learn practical as well as academic skills. They're as suitable for high achieving students as they are for students who wish to learn about a particular profession. If you do a vocational course you can still go on to University. We've a great selection of courses available and are currently celebrating 100% success in 116 vocational courses and 142 Triple Distinctions - equivalent to 3As at A Level.

We offer students a more practical learning programme with vocational qualifications that relate directly to job roles or industry.

Taking a vocational qualification means that you can study and gain skills in a particular area. These qualifications follow a course structure and they have an emphasis on developing practical skills and knowledge. They are usually classroom based with assessment by written and practical examinations. Employers really love the skills you will develop and they are also an ideal qualification for entrance to university. A triple distinction on a vocational course is the equivalent to 3 As at A Level.
