At Blackburn College you will find everything to help you succeed. The College has been providing education for over 120 years and is one of the largest and most successful colleges in the North West. In 2008 Blackburn College received an outstanding Ofsted inspection, when we were officially recognised as being one of the best colleges in the country. What this means for you is that you can feel confident that you will receive the best education possible delivered to a very high standard – our students’ achievements highlight this success. We gained our highest A Level pass rate in 2009 at 99.7%.
We currently have over 15,000 students of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and interests, studying on courses from Entry Level through to Masters degrees. We attract students from many miles award and we work closely with employers from Pennine Lancashire and beyond, helping the economy to thrive and grow.
