Interim Vice Principal
Vice Principal (Curriculum and Quality)
I lead and influence the corporate decisions which impact on the academic areas of the College, focusing on curriculum and quality. I am responsible for the three curriculum areas of the College and for ensuring the quality of the delivery at the University Centre at Blackburn College as well as our Academic Centre and our Technical Centre.
Vice Principal (Finance and Corporate Services)
I am responsible for leading and influencing the corporate decisions which impact on the College's financial health, plus Corporate Services, which includes Student Services, Business Development, Commercial, Human Resources, Estates, IT & MIS, Marketing, Catering and funding contracts. My key priority is the student experience and ensuring that the campus and all the support services provide a high quality service.
Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development
I am ultimately responsible for the leadership of the Human Resources and Organisational Development teams and the provision of an effective and efficient HR and OD service to support the vision and mission of the College. My role has responsibility for defining the College’s HR and OD Strategy as well as the development and implementation of people management policies and procedures including recruitment, selection, induction probation, appraisal, discipline, grievance and performance management.
Director of Business Development and External Engagement
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team I am responsible for leading the College's engagement and work with employers and other external relationships. I lead the Business Development, External Funding, Commercial and International Teams. I represent the College externally on a number of employer related groups with the aim of raising the prosperity of Blackburn with Darwen.
