A-Levels are the perfect route to university and are taught in our dedicated Sixth Form Centre. At Blackburn College Sixth Form, we pride ourselves on the support we put in place for all students to make the transition from secondary school to university, ensuring your journey is all about making sure you reach your full potential. Our dedicated Sixth Form Centre promotes independent thinking that will develop you both personally and academically.

General Sixth Form entry requirements are 5 Cs/4s. Some specific A-Level subjects will have higher entry requirements, so please check a subject's course leaflet for more information.
There is currently a brand new GCSE grading system being phased in. The current A* to G system will eventually be replaced with a numerical system - ranging from 9 (highest) to 1 (lowest). Learn more about the new GCSE grading system and how this will affect the way your results will look.
