“Blackburn College has prepared me for the future for providing me with a great job and helping me learn a lot about the business world."

Keturah studied Blackburn College’s Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship and was one of our first learners to go through this Apprenticeship’s End Point Assessment (EPA), achieving a Distinction grade in the process. Congratulations and good luck, Keturah!

Keturah said: “I chose to study my Apprenticeship at Blackburn College because I had good feedback about the College from friends, had read good reviews online and the campus was close to where I live.

“The thing I enjoyed the most about my Apprenticeship was that I found it very interesting. All the people on my course were lovely including my fellow students, my tutors, my assessors and my employers.

“Blackburn College has prepared me for the future by providing me with a great job and helping me learn a lot about the business world. The work-based learning has certainly made me feel more confident to move up in positions within the workplace.”

She added: “My tutors supported me to achieve my goals by always giving advice when I needed it and constantly checking up to see how I was getting on – particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I currently work in a Business Administration role at ApplicArt in Darwen and I plan to stay in my role and see where it takes me. I undertake a number of responsibilities through my job including logistics management, general administration and Human Resources (HR) duties.”
