To complete all Office Functions to briefly include: Answer Incoming Calls, Distribute Daily Post, Log Absences and Update Daily Registers, Greet Visitors, Office Filing, Photocopying and Binding, Manage the Meeting Room, Provide Refreshments to Visitors.
To act as Office Administration Apprentice / Office Junior in the main school office and provide support for a range of functions.
Specific Duties to include, but not inclusive;
Support Reception at all times.
Answer Incoming Calls to the School Office.
Great all Visitors.
Update Daily Registers and Log all Absences.
Post – Distribution of incoming post and franking of outgoing post.
General typing, photocopying, binding, laminating and faxing.
Regularly update Notice Boards as required.
Photocopiers – To ensure all Toners are kept in stock and re-order as required.
To cover Reception Duties during School Closure.
Have due regard for the Job Description and Daily Responsibilities.
Establish Effective, Professional, Positive Working Relationships with Colleagues.
Be responsible for Personal Health & Safety at Work.
Be aware of Safeguarding / Child protection responsibilities and procedures in place at the school and bring any concerns to the attention of the appropriate member of staff.
Set a good example to children through presentation, personal appearance and conduct.
To make the Office Manager aware of personal professional development needs.
Comply with information and guidance within the Staff Handbook and other school policies.
Handle confidential information with due care and maintain confidentiality throughout all duties.

Experience and Knowledge;
Excellent understanding of all Microsoft packages to include; Word, Excel and Email.
A good general education, with GCSE'S (or equivalent).
Abilities, Skills and Attributes;

Have an eye for details and be accurate.
