Job Description

To provide support to internal and external customers of Booths IT Support team, and to assist in the organization, delivery and continuous improvement of processes, whilst completing the IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals Level 3.

Duties will include;

To analyse and resolve internal customers’ IT problems.

To ensure activity undertaken ultimately contributes to internal and external customer satisfaction.

To be responsible for routine IT administration tasks and ensure that they are carried out accurately, professionally and within time limits to ensure the smooth running of the department.

To manage, enhance and develop Booths' relationship with outsourcing partners in order to achieve strategic objectives and maintain a working relationship based on respect.

To undertake any training and development required to maintain effectiveness in the role.

To achieve and maintain professional standards across all aspects of the role in respect of work undertaken, timescales adhered to and dealings with staff at all levels of the business in a manner appropriate to their business needs.

To be aware of the importance of Health & Safety issues and to endeavor to work safely at all times.

To ensure all support calls are handled in a timely and professional manner with the user being updated at regular intervals and advised before a call is closed.

To have detailed knowledge of the business and the systems that support the business.

To escalate support calls internally and externally as appropriate. To work with outsourcing partners and other members of the IT team to solve faults quickly and effectively.

To undertake shift work, weekends and some Bank Holidays to support internal and external customers.

To ensure procedures comply with legislative obligations.

To undertake any other duties as reasonably directed by management.
