Job Description

Vision Support Services is a leader in global textile manufacture and distribution. Our customer base comes from global accommodation providers, renowned high street retailers, laundries, public bodies and healthcare organisations. The Quality Administration Apprentice is a role designed to allow first time employees from education to move in to a live commercial environment to increase their skills and knowledge. The role sits within our Quality and Compliance team and exposes the role holder in to both internal company practices and our broad customer base.

Duties will include;

To aid in implementation and co-ordination of the organisations risk management strategy.

Aid in the Implementation and audit schedule for relevant systems across the organisation.

Work with the Group Assurance and Compliance Manager to ensure all legislative changes are reviewed.

Aid in the formation of PQQ’s, ITT’s and RFQ’s. Understand the pre tender process and aid in ensuring all potential tender opportunities are reviewed.

Aid in the implementation and co-ordination of the organisations testing requirements.

Maintain supplier audits.

Support relevant systems across the organisation to ensure compliance with Vision’s Labour Standards Assurance System.

Aid in the planning and review of progress against testing requirements and supplier audits across the organisation in line with prevailing contractual demands and organisational policies.

Aid in the planning and management of the organisations response to any changes to supplier compliance, changes to contractual demands and changes to Vision’s Labour Standards Assurance System.

From time to time the company may require the Apprentice Sales Administration Assistant to perform duties outside of this specific remit. Any additional duties will be agreed and in line with the Vision Support Services business needs and model and the capability of the individual in role.

Desirable Skills

Vision Support Services are seeking a positive individual to lead and grow with our organisation.

We need the individual to have a proficiency with the basic Microsoft office packages and have a proficiency in English and Maths.

With exposure to direct clients the individual needs to be able to develop a confidence when dealing with people.

Able to fit in well to a team

Desired Qualifications

A good standard of GCSE grades in Maths and English
