Job Description

Vision Support Services is a leader in global textile manufacture and distribution. Our customer base comes from global accommodation providers, renowned high street retailers, laundries, public bodies and healthcare organisations. The Apprentice Warehouse Logistical Administrator is a role designed to allow first time employees from education to move in to a live commercial environment to increase their skills and knowledge. The role sits within our Warehouse Administration team and exposes the role holder in to both internal company practices and our broad customer base.

Duties will include;

To provide administrative support to aid in the implementation of strategies design to ensure targets are met

To support the Logistics Administration Controller with the day to day logistical administration tasks and the data collection and retrieval as required

To aid in the administration of the Bonded Warehouse operation

To work collaboratively with the team to assist with any corrective actions needed

To assist with the gathering of statistics and information when required

To liaise and arrange meetings as required and to attend and take minutes

From time to time the company may require the Apprentice Warehouse Logistical Administrator to perform duties outside of this specific remit. Any additional duties will be agreed and in line with the Vision Support Services business needs and model and the capability of the individual in role.

Desirable Skills

Vision Support Services are seeking a positive individual to lead and grow with our organisation.

We need the individual to have a proficiency with the basic Microsoft office packages and have a proficiency in English and Maths.

With exposure to direct clients the individual needs to be able to develop a confidence when dealing with people.

Able to fit in well to a team

Desired Qualifications

A good standard of GCSE grades in Maths and English
