Job Description


To provide an efficient, polite and welcoming reception, for both telephone and personal callers to the Mall reception/Ask Me Point

To liaise with the Operations and Technical manager on queries from external contractors and suppliers

To develop sound local knowledge, so as to be able to respond to guest queries on Mall events, local transport queries and local/community events

To promote the appropriate Mall Cares charity

To ensure the delivery of a high level of guest experience

To ensure the meeting diary is up to date

To ensure meeting/training rooms are prepared in advance of use

To provide refreshments required are available

Product and Service

To ensure all telephone calls, both incoming and outgoing, are dealt with in a timely, efficient and polite manner

To ensure all queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently

To ensure the reception area is tidy and well presented at all times, and that sufficient information leaflets etc are always available

To assist with filing, photocopying, scanning and shredding

To ensure a high level of communication is maintained with all relevant individuals within The Mall

To assist the Marketing Team with respect to on-the-mall marketing events and promotions

To carry out any general secretarial duties as required

To ensure all letters and updates to customers are delivered

To champion and be instrumental in the sale and promotion of the Mall Gift Card at The Mall

To present a smart, clean and alert appearance at all times when at work, and to ensure that personal conduct and behaviour are always appropriate to dealing with the public and representing The Mall

To support customer recruitment by promoting vacant positions

To log customer/guest comments and respond wherever possible

To assist with lost and found property.

First 5 weeks of training candidate will work Monday-Friday 09:00 – 17:00, once training is complete Saturday and Sunday working will be required on a rota.
