- Job Description
General office duties are needed across reception, these include; Telephone, typing and paperwork duties, along with some more detailed work on quality control as the role develops.
The position is required within the main administration office.
The person will be responsible to the Operations Manager and will have interaction with all staff at all levels.
Duties will include;
General administration duties
Handling incoming calls
Open post and distribute
Looking after visitors
Arrange transportation for incoming & outgoing work
Monitor and purchase of stationery
Purchase consumables for production and engineering requirements
Filing of operational paperwork and invoices
Booking in production jobs on computerised system
Typing test reports
Administration support to Sales & Marketing
Going forward with training this role would also include administration duties within the Quality, Health & Safety, Sage and HR sections.
- Person Specification
A knowledge of Word & Excel would be advantageous
Good eye for detail
Can work well on their own and also as part of a team
Shows initiative and enthusiastic
Level 2 qualification in Business Administration
GCSE/Functional Skills in Maths and English
