The successful candidate will work as part of the staff team at the direction of the Deputy Headteacher/ Class Teacher/ HLTA to support teaching provision and pupils’ learning.
Working within a strong team of teaching assistants, the successful candidate will undertake a range of duties from working in classrooms to supporting student’s learning, discussing importance of core curriculum subjects to working with SEN students. The role will work supporting students in a range of subject areas, working alongside a number of different teachers.

Further duties of the role include:
Supporting implementation of learning activities working with individual or small groups of pupils
Supporting the development of varying skills that support pupils' learning
Support in producing learning resources
Support to assist in pupil supervision
Support in monitoring and recording of pupil progress and developmental needs
Reporting pupil progress to the teacher

Strong communication skills
Ability to aid with behavior management
A good communicator
Able to follow instructions
Able to follow procedures
Ability to relate to students and their needs
5 GCSEs grade A*- C or equivalent (4-9) including maths and English

Progression onto a Level 3 Teaching and Learning Apprenticeship
