We require a Parts Apprentices to join our Service Team at our Colne Dealership.
You will work within the Service Department and your responsibilities will be:
- To locate and price parts
- Quote customers by email and telephone
- Speak to customer and suppliers on the telephone
- Stock control
- Ordering parts and checking deliveries.
Working closely with a dedicated assessor and your mentor, an individual learning plan will be developed to ensure successful completion of the apprenticeship framework.
The competence qualification will be assessed by your assessor who will visit you in the workplace to check your competence against a range of units.
For the knowledge qualification, Employee Rights and Responsibilities and Functional Skills you will attend college one day a week.
In addition to the college training you will also undertake in-house training with Simpsons SKODA.
There is an excellent support mechanism in place with both dedicated staff at the college and Simpsons SKODA, who will look after you and challenge you to achieve your full potential.

The candidate must be computer literate and able to use email, word and excel in particular.
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure and multi task
Good organisational skills
Punctual and reliable
Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent
Things to consider
Saturday work is involved on a rota basis.
