LYNXprojects Ltd support clients with a comprehensive portfolio of renewable, energy efficient and sustainable services. The accomplished management team, group companies and specialist technology partners have worked together for many years providing specific renewable technology expertise to market. An apprentice electrician is needed who is willing to learn, has good communication skills and can work as part of a team.
They will initially be labouring on electrical teams with progression into installs under supervision.
Projects are commercial and industrial and the role involves a willingness to work away at times.
To assist in the carrying out of electrical or mechanical work, repairs and installation work in accordance with appropriate IEE or Mechanical statutory Regulations, and in accordance with appropriate developmental stage of formal apprenticeship. To remain compliant at all times with local and external (client site) Health & Safety regulations. To undertake a programme of staged learning and development with Technical College(s) that supports both academic and vocational learning and future skills.
The employee may be required to undertake differing or additional tasks to those detailed within this job description, on the proviso that they are within the reasonable skills, experience and knowledge of the employee.
Tasks and Responsibilities as an Electrical Apprentice:
- Attends diligently and attentively at college in order to acquire sound platform of discipline specific knowledge and experience. Duplicates this within the workplace by extracting maximum knowledge from mentor and colleagues.
- Utilises workplace check and balance system with mentor and colleagues in order to consolidate learning and achieve optimum right-first-time outcomes to work tasks.
- Maximises opportunities for wider development of key skills and knowledge. Seeks to attend on client sites and/or volunteers for additional learning opportunities and projects.
