S-03 L3 Personal Trainer Apprentice at FX Fitness Experience Ltd in Burnley
- Job Description
To assist the personal training and performance team planning and delivering 1-1 and group fitness sessions, in addition to facility maintenance and other roles.
In this role, you will be expected to assist the Personal Training team in daily tasks to ensure our clients receive the best possible service during every experience with us.
This includes, but is not limited to,
assisting the senior personal trainers in preparing the facility,
assisting with group training sessions,
and assisting with 1-1 personal training clients,
offering help when training outside of the PT session, within your scope of practice.
In addition, shadowing personal training sessions, delivering supervised sessions and planning and preparing sessions and programmes will all feature throughout the employment.
General maintenance including facility checks, cleaning and reception duties will be expected, and social media and email based marketing and customer service tasks will also be given.
- Person Specification
Most relevant skills will be gained throughout employment; however, we expect the applicant to be computer literate, able to follow clear instructions and able to work as part of a team and individually. In addition, we expect a general competency within fitness instructing at the start, with a willingness to challenge beliefs about nutrition, performance and personal training.
The successful applicant should be a role model to all clients to the facility. A keen interest in fitness and performance is essential.
In addition, a passion to succeed within the role should be demonstrated throughout the interview process, and throughout the entire employment.
Finally, the applicant should demonstrate enthusiasm for working as part of a larger team, in addition to being comfortable completing individual tasks to contribute to the overall success of that team.
We expect all applicants to have a minimum of 5 GCSE grades A-C, with Maths and English being essential.
Must attend initial assessment session at Blackburn College.
