At Blackburn College that’s exactly what’s on offer this September for full time 16 to 18 year old students with a household income of £34,000 or less per year. You'll be able to use that bus at different times in the day - and at evenings and weekends too! It makes it ideal if you've a part time job. Even if you do not get a FREE bus pass, our low cost bus passes still offer great value.

  • Free Bus Pass

    - The bus pass provides FREE travel to Blackburn College and other places on the bus route. It can be used at any time and at the weekend, too! There’s no need to wait for one specific college bus at the very beginning or very end of the day. Our FREE bus pass is available if you live in a household with an annual income of £34,000 or less and live in any of the following areas: Accrington, Bacup, Blackburn, Bolton, Burnley, Chipping, Chorley, Clayton-le-Moors, Clitheroe, Colne, Darwen, Great Harwood, Haslingden, Helmshore, Longridge, Nelson, Padiham, Preston, Rawtenstall, Rishton, Rising Bridge, Waterfoot or Whalley. If you’re not eligible for the free bus pass we’re also offering a LOW cost bus pass.
  • £65 per term Bus Pass

    - Don't worry. If you're not able to get the free bus pass, the alternatives are still great value. If you live in a household with an annual income of £34,000 + and live in any of the following areas: Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Clayton-le-Moors, Great Harwood, Huncoat, Rishton or Rising Bridge the bus pass is £65 per term.
  • £85 per term Bus Pass

    - If you live in: Bacup, Barnoldswick, Bolton, Burnley, Chorley, Clitheroe, Colne, Haslingden, Helmshore, Nelson, Padiham, Preston, Rawtenstall, Whalley or Wilpshire the low cost bus pass is £85 per term.

The 16-18 Year Old Free Bus Pass is not available for 16-18 Year Old Apprentices. Apprentices are still able to access the £65 per term or £85 per term bus pass.

In order to gain the Free Bus Pass, proof of household income will be required.
