As an integral member of the department, you will predominantly teach on the A-level provision.The role includes providing tutorials, support, administrative and outreach work plus organising trips and visits. You will also plan, improve and evaluate course content – so there’s a genuine opportunity for you to shape future curriculum development. Your challenge may also extend to monitoring, guiding and recording the progress of a group of students as their personal tutor.
What we’re looking for: You will have a degree in computing or related discipline with an extensive knowledge of the subject and experience of teaching towards an exam. You will also be expected to have a genuine enthusiasm and talent for sharing this knowledge with others. It is essential that you hold a PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification and also excellent written and oral communication skills
