This course is for anyone currently working in the field of administration whose role involves carrying out administrative duties with a high degree of autonomy and personal responsibility.
You will be involved in developing, implementing and maintaining administrative services for customers and clients.
What does the course aim to do?
To allow you to gain a combined qualification in Business and Administration. In order to gain the Diploma at level 3 you will have to prove that you can perform competencies to a nationally recognised standard.
This qualification is competence based, this means that it is linked to your role and ability to completely perform a range of tasks connected with your work.
The course is priced at £1,500.00 per delegate and includes skills analysis, course enrolment, NVQ registration, NVQ assessment, internal and external verification and certification. The course should be completed within a maximum of 12 months (however some people complete the course quicker than others).
Course times will vary depending on the hours worked by the specific candidate (Course completion is between 8 – 12 months).
Unfortunately applicants who cancel a place on a course within 21 days prior to delivery will not be given a refund due to administration charges. Joining instructions are usually sent 7-10 days prior to a course taking place.

- What will I study?
You will need to gather evidence for 5 mandatory units:
- Communicate in a Business Environment
- Manager Personal and Professional Development
- Principles of Business Communication and Information
- Principles of Administration
- Principles of Business
You will also need to achieve a variety of optional units that best match your current job role. Your assessor will provide further information on these options. This qualification is very flexible in its structure enabling the organisation and individual to choose the optional units which best suit their work situation.
- Entry Requirements
Business Administration Level 2 or relevant business experience.
- How will I be assessed?
Assessments will be carried out on your daily activities using a range of planned assessment methods i.e. observation, discussion and questioning. Delivery will be via workplace visits and independent tasks and activities set remotely by your dedicated assessor.
