This course is for anyone currently working in the field of administration whose role involves carrying out administrative duties with a high degree of autonomy and personal responsibility. You will be involved in developing, implementing and maintaining administrative services for customers and clients.
- What will I study?
For level 3 - you will need to gather evidence for 5 mandatory units:
- Communicate in a Business Environment
- Manager Personal and Professional Development
- Principles of Business Communication and Information
- Principles of Administration
- Principles of Business
You will also need to achieve a variety of optional units that best match your current job role. Your assessor will provide further information on these options. This qualification is very flexible in its structure enabling the organisation and individual to choose the optional units which best suit their work situation.
What does the course aim to do?
To allow you to gain a combined qualification in Business and Administration. In order to gain the Diploma at level 3 you will have to prove that you can perform competencies to a nationally recognised standard.
This qualification is competence based, this means that it is linked to your ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with your work. Assessments will be carried out on your daily activities using a range of planned assessment methods i.e. observation, discussion and questioning. All delivery is in the workplace.
- Entry Requirements
Business Administration Level 2 or relevant business experience.
- How will I be assessed?
All of the qualification will be assessed in the work place by your individual assessor from the College. Your assessor will visit you a minimum of once a month and will assist you in compiling a portfolio of evidence.
