- What will I study?
Is your organisation spending wisely? Decisions about value for money are a daily reality in all our lives. We are constantly choosing which items or services to buy, and judging the right balance for us between quality and cost. These basic principles can be expanded and developed to create a refined Value for Money strategy which can help ensure your business obtains maximum benefit from the goods and services it acquires. With many organisations having budgets reduced and being required to spend less and spend well, this e-learning course has been developed to provide learners with an increased understanding of effective Value for Money strategies and help them recognise the benefits these strategies can have for an organisation, resulting in doing the same for less, or more for the same. On completion of this course learners will be able to:
- Recognise the potential of an effective VfM strategy
- Summarise the background to VfM strategies
- Outline a viable VfM strategy and its implementation
- Apply a VfM toolbox to review both current and future services
