Who is the course for?
The course provides a valuable overview of Health and Safety in the workplace. It is aimed at existing Health & Safety Managers, Health & Safety Representatives, anybody with an IOSH qualification who wants to progress further or those who want to manage risks effectively.

What will I study?
The NEBOSH General Certificate covers the main legal requirements for Health & Safety in the UK. The course will follow the NEBOSH syllabus and include topics such as:
- Accident investigation
- Risk Assessment
- Health & safety policy
- Fire safety
- Safe systems of work
- Noise
- First Aid
- Working at height
- Construction design
- Management regulations
The qualification is divided into two units, each of which is assessed separately:
- Management of Health and Safety (NGC1)
- Controlling workplace hazards / Health and safety practical application (NGC2)

This course is for managers and supervisors in any sector and organisation or those with a keen interest in health and safety. The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below.
It is essential that individuals allocate 5 hours self-directed study per week.
