Academic Subject Leader - Business (4 month secondment opportunity)
The Academic Subject Leader will work closely with the Head of School and be expected to provide academic leadership across the centre, improve the support that subject staff receive, create a greater leadership focus on the subject area, the pedagogy, the scholarship and the stewardship of quality and standards. This role will support future growth and student recruitment and support succession planning within the centre. Subject teams will develop the ‘graduateness’ of students through a focus on specialisms at level 6 and above.
The person appointed will create a strong subject identity internally and externally. The post holder will collaborate with business, the community and industry to ensure student learning is focused on employer requirements.

This opportunity is only available to teaching staff within the University Centre.

As this post is offered as a secondment opportunity, the successful candidate will return to their substantive post at the end of the secondment.
