Curriculum Team Leader for Childhood Studies

In addition to your current lecturing role, as a Curriculum Team Leader, you will report to the Head of Studies in the management and operation of your subject area. You will be responsible for the team leadership and efficient and effective running of your specific subject area and your teaching commitment will be up to 662 hours per year. You will manage and appraise performance across designated areas of responsibility potentially including classroom based staff. You will have responsibility for programme(s)/curriculum, including recruitment, curriculum content and quality indicators as well as lead the development and delivery of a curriculum area. The focus will be on the delivering of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment leading to very high rates of retention, achievement, value added, learner satisfaction, progress and progression.
What we are looking for
Internal applications are invited from candidates who have a strong track record in teaching in Further Education, have a level 4 qualification or above in a subject relevant to the curriculum area and have the ability to lead a team of curriculum delivery colleagues to bring about positive change.
