Blackburn College is passionate about mentoring unemployed young people and adults into Apprenticeships, employment or full time education by identifying opportunities as part of the Access to Employment project. The project aim is to help those who are disadvantaged but still relatively close to the labour market to tackle their barriers to work and enter and sustain employment.
We are looking for an experienced co-ordinator/mentor who would be responsible for delivering and co-ordinating the mentoring Access to Employment Project. As Employability Co-ordinator/mentor for the project, you will be required to provide flexible bespoke services and support learners into employment from Initial Advice and Guidance to the third month of employment or full time education.
With experience in business and administration or Advice and Guidance you should possess a relevant level 3 qualification and be able to plan and monitor learner progression in a Work Based Learning environment in addition to delivering Initial Assessment and Advice and Guidance.
