Job Description

As a member of the External Funding Team (part of the wider Commercial and Business Development Team), you will work across a range of diverse and exciting cross-college projects.  Examples of current projects include, supporting young people into work and education; aerospace innovation and research; construction scholarships and tackling inactivity in sport.


Reporting to the External Funding Manager, you will be responsible for collecting and collating project monitoring and audit evidence to submit funding claims.  With a strong focus on team work, you will liaise with internal and external partners on projects funded by, for example, ESF (European Social Fund), Sport England, Education & Training Foundation and the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency).


With a Level 2 Qualification in Literacy and Numeracy you must have demonstrable IT skills in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word and Access), be able to work under pressure within tight timescales and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
