Job Description

Responsible to the Learning Support Manager you will coordinate the process of reviewing and maintaining records for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including those with Education Health Care Plans (EHCP’s) by working closely with students, their families, curriculum colleagues and external agencies as prescribed by the SEND Code of Practice.  You will work alongside the Head of Student Support and Learning Support Manager to ensure the needs of the students with SEND, including those with EHCP’s are being met and they are successfully working towards their outcomes.

You will possess a Vocational/academic qualification at a minimum of level 3 together with Level 2 in English and Maths or a willingness to work towards within 12 months. You must have Successful experience of working with students with learning disabilities, learning difficulties, complex and physical needs. You will also demonstrate up to date knowledge of the revised SEND Code of Practice and associated EHCP/funding.
