Student Progress Lead (FE/WBL) (0.4 FTE)
Hours: 14.8 hours per week (0.4FTE). Candidates will remain on their current contracted hours; teaching hours will be up to 497 hours per annum.
Contract Type: Fixed term for up to 12 months
Salary: Salary Scale Fixed Point 39 : £37,753 pro rata per annum
Student progress is the key focus and core aim of the College and fundamental to our continued success. To support this the College is looking to appoint 6 Student Progress Leads (FE/WBL).
Reporting to the Head of Teaching and Learning (FE/WBL) you will join a team of Student Progress Leads to be an ambassador for Student Success by leading and effectively promoting the use of ProMonitor and/or OneFile within curriculum areas and supporting colleagues to develop teaching practices that support and encourage good student progress. You will ensure that staff are supported in developing highly effective monitoring and tracking mechanisms, that they use and recognise the importance of the College’s tracking mechanisms and embed these into practice and provide coaching and mentoring of teachers across the College in order to ensure that student progress becomes at least good.
This is an ideal opportunity for colleagues who wish to support others in enhancing their practice and drive consistency of good practice across the College.
Whilst maintaining your teaching practice, you will provide a programme of effective support to those colleagues and/or curriculum areas that have been identified as non-expert users or late-adopters of College systems.
