I have worked at the University Centre Blackburn College since 2010, but have been involved in teaching in Higher Education since 2005, initially at UClan and then at Edge Hill University.  Having achieved my previous degrees in the area of Complementary Therapies, I have changed direction with my doctoral studies and have undertaken a Professional Doctorate in Education.

Recent Research Projects

My recent research has been for my professional doctorate and has looked at the educational experiences of students labelled as ‘non-traditional’. This will be submitted in November 2016.

I am the Educationalist Board Member for The British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (appointed 2015) and currently am external examiner for The North West College of Homeopathy. I have also recently been appointed as Educational Consultant for The Society of Homeopaths.
