Sue Dutton

I have had a long and varied career, and I bring my experience with me to my role as a lecturer on a wide range of degree programmes and professional courses here at Blackburn College University Centre. I have over 25 years’ experience in management within local government; beginning my career in Youth and Community Work and eventually moving into Children’s Services where I spent 15 years managing Sure Start Children’s Centres. I also had the opportunity to be one of 50 Systems Leaders on a national programme, coaching and mentoring other Sure Start Programme Managers.

In all of my roles as either a leader, a coach or as a lecturer, I am driven by the desire see people achieve their goals, working to motivate them, inspire them and providing help and support when needed.
