Please do not attend Blackburn College on Monday 28th June 2021. Due to the extension of the Covid-19 restrictions we are no longer able to hold this event on campus, in-person.

New Students’ Event 2021

We recently sent you a postcard to explain we wanted to hold our New Students’ Day in-person on Monday 28th June 2021.

Sadly, due to the extension of the Government’s COVID-19 restrictions we can no longer hold this event face to face.

We have now written to you to explain that you should not attend Blackburn College on Monday 28th June 2021.

 Instead, we will be making information available to you online, will send you further information in the post about your enrolment and will be making phone calls to our applicants.

We will also be launching a new programme of activities for so that you can take part in some activities relevant for your course before September.

Information will be sent to you shortly. Please take care and keep safe.

What will happen instead?

Instead of our New Students' Event, please keep an eye on your phone, email inbox and letter box!

We’ll be sending you a number of items to support you throughout the summer.

Phone calls during the week commencing Monday 28th June 2021

During the week commencing Monday 28th June 2021 our aim is to phone all our applicants for September 2022. This will be a phone call with a member of a course team for the area in which you have applied to study. It's your opportunity to ask more questions about the course, to talk through any concerns you have and to ask questions about enrolment. This person will be your Blackburn College Key Contact and will support you in the lead up to enrolment.

The Launch of our Ready, Steady Go! Programme

We will be launching our Ready, Steady, Go! Programme. These are activities that you can complete over the summer to help you with your course.

We will send you this information soon, you will be able to access these activities online. A link to this programme will be sent to you over email, via postcard and via text.

Access to our Welcome Hub

We’ll also give you access to our online Welcome Hub! You can get more information about College here including how to access emails, your timetable and much more.

Again, this will be sent to you via email, text and we'll let you know in the post.
