Designing a creative future
Students from the University Centre at Blackburn College are to benefit from continued work placement opportunities after the renewal of a memorandum of understanding between T-PW Design Consultants and Blackburn College.
T-PW Design Consultants, a creative design and marketing agency based in Darwen, have been working with students from Blackburn College since 4th February 2016.
T-PW Design Consultants have an outstanding reputation for delivering marketing, advertising and creative design projects.
John Harrison, Head of School of Art and Society at the University Centre at Blackburn College said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with T-PW Design Consultants.
“Our students have already benefitted immensely from being able to experience working within a design agency and to be able to explore the options available to them within marketing, advertising and design.
“The University Centre at Blackburn College run a number of Creative Arts degree programmes that are designed to prepare students for a career within the industry including BA (Hons) Fine Art; BA (Hons) Photography; BA (Hons) Graphic Communication.
John added: “Work placement opportunities provide students with invaluable experience and key employability skills.”
Mark Murray, Managing Director of T-PW Design Consultants said: “We are pleased to partner with the University Centre at Blackburn College, for a fourth year running.
“We hope the students gain a valuable insight into the real life running of a creative agency and take away knowledge and experience of working on live briefs with the T-PW team.”
