College Staff and Student Combination Creates London Magazine Fashion Feature
University Centre at Blackburn College student Rachel White recently worked as Styling Assistant on a fashion shoot feature for the April edition of Dreamingless Magazine.
Rachel, who studies BA (Hons) Contemporary Fashion, supported the photoshoot, which consisted of a professional collaboration between the University Centre’s BA (Hons) Photography and Moving Image facilitator Sam Johnson and BA (Hons) Contemporary Fashion programme leader Rajan Soond.
The shoot was a brilliant opportunity for the College’s programme leaders and students to work together as professional practitioners to create a full editorial feature.
Discussing the shoot, Sam Johnson said: “Since starting at Blackburn College, myself and Rajan have been looking to collaborate on a project as we share a similar aesthetic thinking when it comes to art, photography and fashion.
“The editorial for Dreamingless Magazine proved to be the perfect opportunity to arrange a photoshoot and get a College student involved alongside us.
“Rachel was invaluable on the day and provided great support with the styling of the garments and assisting the professional model.”
Dreamingless Magazine is a London-based outlet that has been running for over six years.
