Student Entrepreneurs Pitch their Ideas at Dragon’s Den

Blackburn College in partnership with Boost and Enterprise4All

Blackburn College in partnership with Boost and Enterprise4All have challenged second year Business students to devise, develop and pitch their business ideas to the Dragon’s Den.

The students are currently taking  part in a two day event hosted at Enterprise4All to give students the opportunity to experience the working environment.

Yusuf Musa, Business Advisor said “it’s great to work in partnership with Blackburn College to develop our future entrepreneurs, supporting the students with the growth tools for their business ideas.”

Over the two days the students start to understand the process of establishing their business idea through a series of workshops including: Business Model Canvas, Selling Sells, Visioning Orbit and Digital Marketing.

Blackburn College student Rachel Whalley said “I’ve enjoyed meeting the Boost team and learning how I am going to improve my business plan”

The challenge culminates in students presenting their business ideas to the Dragons, a panel of academics, business advisors and business owners in early April 2020.
